We are looking for a Solicitor/Senior Solicitor/Associate (1 - 4 PQE) to join our Energy team in our Aberdeen, Edinburgh or Glasgow office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading team in a successful, growing firm.
The role represents an exciting opportunity for a property solicitor to join a well-established and growing team who advise several prominent developers and funders in the energy sector, with exposure to interesting and varied work in a sector of critical importance on a global scale as we strive to meet ambitious climate change targets and address issues around energy supply.
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about contributing to and being actively involved in business development initiatives as we further grow the practice. The role will allow for real development and opportunity in this area.
You will be part of a close-knit specialist team led by Neil Bruce and Nicola Scott, supporting our senior fee earners and partners advising on renewable energy transactions across a wide range of projects and technologies. Our supportive and collegiate team will be able to provide detailed training and development to allow the successful candidate to take ownership of files and play a key role in advising clients.
The team’s client list is a Who’s Who of the major players in the energy sector, as well as International and City Law Firms acting on some of the largest energy transactions with Scots law elements. Team members have excellent exposure to a stellar client list, and the successful candidate will be heavily involved in some of the most significant projects and deals in the sector.
